Concealed Carry Permit (CCP)
In order to carry a concealed deadly weapon (defined in above sections), you must obtain a Concealed Carry Permit, which will be referred to as a CCP for the remainder of this document.
To obtain a CCP, you must;
Ensure that all owned weapons are registered with the State Firearms Regulatory Agency.
Obtain an application for a CCP from your local law enforcement agency.
Complete the application and undergo and pass a more extensive background check (includes calls to 911 and charges)
Complete fingerprinting with your local law enforcement agency.
Complete the required firearms safety course and training.
It is important to note, that when concealed carrying you have a duty to immediately inform law enforcement in the event of an encounter.
Using your conceal carry weapon to commit any crime will result in your CCP being revoked indefinitely, or being convicted of any crimes involving violence will result in your CCP being suspended or revoked.
