Felonies

A felony is a criminal charge that is more serious than a misdemeanor and is prosecuted by the San Andreas State’s Attorney’s Office. Charges that carry the felony designation can only be modified, dropped, or expunged by the San Andreas State Courts, or the state prosecutor. Felonies are punishable by fines, community service, incarceration, probation, parole, and other means by the Court hearing the case.

  1. Level 1 Felony (F1*)

    1. Conviction of a Level 1 felony carries a penalty of incarceration between twenty (20) years and life incarceration (defined by thirty (30) or more years sentenced) and a fine of up to $25,000.

  2. Level 2 Felony (F2*)

    1. Conviction of a Level 2 felony carries a penalty of incarceration between fifteen (15) and twenty (20) years and a fine of up to $20,000.

  3. Level 3 Felony (F3*)

    1. Conviction of a Level 3 felony carries a penalty of incarceration between ten (10) and fifteen (15) years and a fine of up to $15,000.

  4. Level 4 Felony (F4*)

    1. Conviction of a Level 4 felony carries a penalty of incarceration between five (5) and ten (10) years and a fine of up to $10,000.

  5. Level 5 Felony (F5*)

    1. Conviction of a Level 5 felony carries a penalty of incarceration between two (2) and five (5) years and a fine of up to $7,500.

  6. Level 6 Felony (F6*)

    1. Conviction of a Level 6 felony carries a penalty of incarceration between six (6) months and two (2) years and a fine of up to $5,000.
