Misdemeanors
A misdemeanor is a criminal charge that is more serious than an infraction, but less than a felony. Misdemeanor charges will be tried in the local municipal or justice courts, and punishments will be determined by a Judge but can include fines and/or incarceration in the municipality jail facility. License points will be added for convicted traffic misdemeanors.
Class “A” Misdemeanor (M1*)
Conviction of a Class “A” misdemeanor carries a penalty of incarceration of no longer than one (1) year and/or a fine of up to $5,000.
In Game Jail Time – 100 Seconds
Class “B” Misdemeanor (M2*)
Conviction of a Class “B” misdemeanor carries a penalty of incarceration of no longer than one hundred eighty (180) days and a fine of up to $1,000.
In Game Jail Time – 60 Seconds
Class “C” Misdemeanor (M3*)
Conviction of a Class “C” misdemeanor carries a penalty of incarceration of no longer than sixty (60) days and a fine of up to $500.
In Game Jail Time – 30 Seconds
