SA (2)02 Criminal Trespass
Criminal Trespass is a charge reserved for individuals who either dwell or refuse to leave a property at the request of the owner.
A person can be charged with Criminal Trespass if:
The individual refuses to leave a property that they have no contractual interest in, at the request of the property owner.
The individual enters a dwelling without the permission of the property owner.
Class A Misdemeanor
Sentence: 20 minutes
Fine: $5,000
Level 5 Felony if the individual has a prior unrelated conviction for Criminal Trespass on the same property
Sentence: 40 minutes
Fine: $7,500
