SA (2)03 Unlawful Entry to a Restricted Area

Unlawful Entry to a Restricted Area is a charge that is reserved for individuals making entry to a restricted area without authorization.

A person can be charged with Unlawful Entry to a Restricted Area if:

  1. The individual, without proper authorization, enters any government owned or managed facility that is secured with the intent of keeping ordinary citizens outside.

    1. Such facilities include (but are not limited to) correctional institutions, airports, military encampments, and federally restricted spaces.

    2. This does not apply to local facilities, such as restricted areas within police stations, hospitals, and courthouses.

This charge CANNOT stack with SA (2)02, or any form of Burglary.
