SA (2)08 Theft

Theft (also known as Petty Theft) is a charge that is reserved for individual who knowingly or intentionally exerts unauthorized control over property of another person, with the intent to deprive the other person of any part of its value or use.

Class A Misdemeanor

Sentence: 20 minutes

Fine: $5,000

The value of the stolen goods must not exceed $750. If it does, please see SA (2)09 Grand Theft.
