SA (2)04 Burglary

Burglary is charge reserved for individuals who enter a locked or restricted property without permission with the intent of committing a crime.

Level 5 Felony

Sentence: 40 minutes

Fine: $7,500

Level 4 Felony if the building or structure is a residential building.

Sentence: 60 minutes

Fine: $10,000

Notes:

Burglary can include homes, apartments, offices, vehicles, or any locked space with restricted access. Burglary is also committed irrelevant if any theft or other crime takes place. Criminal Trespass shall be used in instances where there is no intent to commit a crime AND/OR no locked door or other physical restriction.
